New Direction: Something different from her normal look for a special lunch which she could mix and match for other occasions.
What we did: We steered away from Charlotte’s usual candy-coloured shades and kept to the season’s colours of camel and black. We found a fantastic leather sleeveless tunic (M&S) which could be worn with leggings & pumps to dress it down for everyday.
As the tunic needed 'smartening up' for lunch, we paired it with a chiffon blouse from Oasis, which she loved and later wore with jeans. Charlotte was able to pull off black because of the sheerness of the fabric - the bow detail softened the neckline and balanced out the look.
To complete the look: A black fitted winter coat, with a twist of a fitted tulip-shape, giving her a lovely hourglass figure. We teamed this up with her own winter boots and dark tights to elongate her legs.
“I would never have chosen the outfit, left to my own devices, but I absolutely love it. Thanks to the FrockChicks my daughters want to borrow my clothes!” Charlotte, Berrylands
